Mr Jones created one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe – Pevero Golf Club Porto Cervo. From the sky you can see that it is like star – one way to the most white sandy beach Pevero Beach, one trail goes to the famous Hotel Cala di Volpe and the one in the middle to the named Hotel Romazzino.

Pevero Golf – 18 hole par 72 course – 6751 yards – surface 3,8 miles.

The Pevero Golf Club opens in 1972. It is a magic place because the golf course is well combined with the nature of Sardinia….rocks, lakes, mediteranean flora (perfume of lavender, rosemary and myrtle) – it is the most scenic and one of the best conditioned golf course you can find.

Pevero was officially recognized as one of the best courses in the world (Ranked by Golf Magazine in the top fifty in the world).

1978 Italian Open  – Dan Hayes beats Tommy Horton with a score of 293.

For refreshment there is a very good restaurant – Golfer´s Bar – ask for Mario Sasu and his wife (wonderful home-made kitchen).
